ARTwild  ADVENTURE at your library

begins with Lori Taylor!

Get out, get wild and get creative! Calling all elementary-aged citizen scientists! 

Explore wild Michigan with Bitely, MI author/illustrator Lori Taylor. Lori has been an artist-in-residence for Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Porcupine Mountains wilderness State Park, and Literacy Legacy Fund of Michigan. She explores Michigan to come back with stories of adventure to share with kids of all ages so they can find and make their own adventures and record them.

  • Kids will encounter wild puppet beasties that teach kids how to use their exploring sensory tools!
  • Kids will discover, draw, and describe bones, stones, and creepy things in a field note guide of their making decorated with"fossil art."
  • Kids will adventure out to map a sensory scavenger hunt!

Program length 1 1/2 hours. Ages 4-11   $400.00

*mileage fee applied after first 100 miles
