ABOUT MY BOOKS
Ever since I was a child growing up in Clarkston, Michigan I loved being in the outdoors studying the amazing critters and things out there. At a young age, I knew that I wanted to make books. I wrote, drew and stapled handmade books. Later, my father lent me his mimeograph so I could print off books. As a teen graduating high school I was given a book by Michigan author/illustrator Gwen Frostic, For Those Who See, and I knew this was to be my path! I would spend my life looking for wild tales to share!
I LOVE writing and illustrating books for all people of all ages and abilities. The joy of reading and the wonder of nature go hand-in-hand as a necessity for all.
